Microsoft rolled out their own Video Search in the Fall of 2007. Here are some things MSN wants you to know about it:

• MSN Video Search search searches across the entire internet. MSN boasts that their Live Search for Videos searches the entire web for relevant videos, rather than just searching in one particular place, like Google does with YouTube.

• MSN Video Search rewards freshness. Newer videos for a particular subject are often placed at the top of the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).

• Video results are often shown in a line across the top of the regular SERPs.

• MSN’s Video SERPS allow for faster browsing of videos. They show thumbnails of the videos and when you hover over a thumbnail, you see a short clip of representative scenes from that video.

• MSN makes saving your favorite videos easy. You may drag and drop videos from the SERPs into your Video Favorites at the top right of the page.
